E-mail
1 - Email is used only for work-related communications. No exceptions. All e-mail is monitored, logged;
2 - All e-mail coming from outside with MS Word attachments is stopped by quarantine until "secondary" scans. Internal e-mail and inside e-mail is not affected by this restriction;
3 - All e-mail coming from outside, has banner attached in the beginning of the message (and you will see the example below):
"CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe."
4 - After 2018 network infection 'incident", our lab's address list is in active use by spammers and other "bad guys" who are actively trying to trick us with phishing e-mails. Some days we receive hundreds of those. Some accounts receive multiple messages daily.

So, I attached few screenshots (Outlook and Outlook Web Access) with pointers to make sure you are not confused BUT you are always welcome to ask me if you have any doubts. Please, do not try to make me sad by telling me: "Ummm, I think, I clicked on the link or an attachment and probably I should not have done it".

- If message has banner, it came from outside EVEN if it claims it from somebody from inside;
- when you receive ANY message from outside - ask yourself first if you know sender and if you were expecting it;
- we do not host e-mail somewhere, so there is no messages from Support, Email Administrator, etc;
- we do not have mailbox quota (see below about me personally bugging people about their mailboxes);
- I never, NEVER, sign my emails "Sincerely";
- if you hover mouse over link(without clicking on it!) you will be able to see THE REAL link pop-up (in OWA it's link on the bottom);
- DO NOT open any attachments, unless it's internal mail or known communication from known support or client - FedEx, UPS, USPS do not send invoices or tracking numbers in ZIP format - it's HTML-formatted email only;
- if you have ANY doubts - ask me;
- if you make any comments about my spelling or grammar - I will hunt you down and will make you eat few ghost peppers grown by Susan Treat's father (he is my neighbor);
- DO NOT try to make me disappointed in you!!!
